Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School is located on 99th Street, three blocks east of Pulaski, in the heart of an educational community. The school shares a campus with Saint Xavier University and is bordered to the west by Brother Rice High School and to the east by Evergreen Park Southwest Elementary School. CTA, PACE, District 218 and Shared bus services are available to McAuley students.
Mother McAuley sells student permits for $5. This permit allows students to ride the bus one time for the reduced fare of 85 cents. If a student needs to transfer buses she should buy Reduced Fare cards from Jewel, Dominics or Currency Exchanges. A 20 pack sells for $15.30. The student swipes the card for the first ride and again for the second but then adds .15 in change for the transfer. Magnetic cards are also available from the CTA but the student must fill out a form (available in the Main Office). You can put any amount of money on the card from any CTA kiosk and the money is deducted each time the student uses the card.
