“I am honored and excited to join the Institutional Advancement team, to support the education of young women and keep my fellow alumnae in touch with our alma mater. I am extremely proud of Mother McAuley and its work in providing a safe space for young women to learn, lead and serve with confidence and compassion. I know first hand as an alumna, the parent of a young alumna and a current senior that a McAuley education is a gift. I’m grateful.”

Megan Beglin

“It has been incredible joining Mother McAuley’s Institutional Advancement team! Everyone is very welcoming and inclusive. This team is full of such talented people, I can’t wait to see what the future has in store.”

Celebration 2022

On Thursday, April 28, 2022, Mother McAuley Painted the Town Red for our annual Celebration Gala, a benefit to provide tuition assistance and scholarship to Mother McAuley students!

We were honored to toast our Retiring President Mary Acker Klingenberger ‘75 for her decade of faithful service to Mother McAuley, and to celebrate our esteemed honorees Chris (Gallagher ‘72) and Mark Sever and the Gallagher Family (Catherine McAuley Leadership Award Recipients) and Sister Cathleen Cahill, RSM (Life Trustee Recipient) for their continued dedication to Mother McAuley!

Mother McAuley’s beautiful A Capella Choir shared their talents with the crowd by singing the Suscipe and the Irish Blessing. Emily Tovey ‘23 and Cate Schultz ‘23 serenaded Mary Klingenberger with Wicked’s “For Good”, to share our gratitude with Mary with the lines “because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” Our inter-mediate strings also shared their talents and filled Ridge Country Club with beautiful, classical music during our cocktail hour  portion of the night. We are so grateful to have such talented Mighty Macs!

During our mission moment, Treazure Edwards ‘23 and Maria McCormack ‘16 shared their stories of the importance of scholarship in their lives and how a Mother McAuley  education has provided them with the Lifetime Advantage. Thank you to the hilarious
Pat and Sara (Phillips ‘96) McGann for hosting our Mission Moment/Paddle Raise and filling the room with laughter! It was truly a night to remember!
