Dear Prospective Students and Parents,

I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Nancy Lynch and I have been part of the McAuley Community for eight years.  It has been my pleasure to work with an extraordinary group of teaching professionals and office staff who are all very dedicated to the mission of our foundress, Catherine McAuley and to making sure our students get what they need to succeed here.

This year I am excited to join Laura Fleck as part of the Recruiting team.   Our main goal is to spread the word about the great things happening at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School.  Just ask a McAuley girl.  Her first answer might be that they don’t have to wear make-up or do their hair (perhaps you’ve seen the famous McAuley bun). 

As she continues, she’ll tell you that she can be herself in school without distractions and that she can focus on what’s important to her. 

My own daughter, Kathleen, graduated in 2006 so I know first-hand about the lifetime advantages that McAuley gives its students.  Kathleen went to college last year well prepared for the challenging course work.  She has the study skills and the writing skills that she learned at McAuley to succeed in her classes not to mention the critical thinking skills she needs to question what she is learning both in her classes and in her college life.

Consider spending a day at McAuley shadowing one of our students.  If you don’t have a hostess in mind, any one of our student ambassadors would love to show you what a typical day at McAuley is like including lunch in our café.  This is really the best way to see if McAuley is where you’d like to spend four very important years of your future.
