Summer Camps 2017

Registration is now open for McAuley summer camps for Grades K – 12! From sports to art to theatre to technology, we have a camp for you! All camp grade levels refer to the grade you will be entering for the 2017-2018 school year. For example, if you are currently in grade 6 for the 2016-2017 school year, you sign up for camps that are offered to grade 7.

Sports Camps
Grades 1 – 12 | Ages, dates and times vary by camp | $80
McAuley’s athletic program has a rich tradition, built on success, hard work and Mighty Mac pride. Join our coaches for camps in Basketball, Bowling, Diving, Golf, Lacrosse, Running, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball and Water Polo. Creative Writing   
Grades 4 – 8 | July 17 – 20 | 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. | $80
Participate in a variety of creative writing activities using iPad technology designed for girls who love to write. Mr. Patrick Sullivan, a McAuley English and Theatre teacher, will encourage your love of the written word, or in this case, the electronic word.

Science
Grades 4 – 8 | July 10 – 13 | 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. | $80
Share your love of science in a four day exploration. With labs in Chemistry, Biology, Earth & Space and Environmental Science, you'll discover how these sciences impact your daily life and above all, have fun!

Technology  
Grades 6 – 9 | July 24 – 27 | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | $80
Technology camp focuses on creation, collaboration, and sharing ideas with the world. Students will create projects using various applications to publish works for the written, audio, and video platforms to revolutionize their creative works for school and personal projects.

Visual Arts   
Grades 3 – 5 | July 10 – 13 & 17 – 20  | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. | $175
Grades 6 – 8 | July 10 – 13 & 17 – 20 | 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | $175

A favorite experience among many young students! The camp encompasses two weeks of fun, creativity, and adventures in art. Through a variety of practice activities, individualized instruction, and creative projects, campers will develop drawing, painting, and sculpting skills and techniques. 

Theatre & Music  
Grades K– 9 | June 19 – 22 & 26 – 30| 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | $225
Become a star this summer! Mrs. Julie McKee and Mrs. Carrie Alifantis are the Directors of this summer's "Curtain Call" Theatre and Music Camp. This camp is open to girls and boys. Campers will practice singing, dancing, and acting in preparation for the performances of Lion King and Mulan at the end of the two weeks.

*June 29 performances at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
*June 30 performances at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. 

Mini MAC Camp ***We're sorry, this camp is now closed***
Grades 1-6 | June 12-15 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | $130
The Mini MAC Camp is back by popular demand! Start your summer off at our enrichment camp with hands-on, project based sessions that give girls the opportunity to explore creative environment. Each day will have a different focus including art, music, theatre, technology, science, sports and world culture. 

Brother Rice & Mother McAuley Middle School Band Camp
Grades 6-8 | June 26-30 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. | $150 
Develop and improve your concert playing skills and perform with high school student section leaders on July 1!
