Jan was a huge part of the McAuley family for many years and, although McAuley was not her alma mater, she was a true honorary Mighty Mac. Her spirit, laughter and energy radiated through the halls and we are all blessed to have known her. The students and alumnae of McAuley held a special place in Jan's heart, as she does in ours.

Please come spend some time on the water to benefit her Scholarship!

*Boat launch for the Saganashkee Slough is located on 107th Street, just west of 104th Avenue, Willow Springs, IL.

Red Kayak Institute

The mission of the Red Kayak Institute is to introduce people facing challenges to the healing benefits of kayaking. Just add water.

Institute programs are geared toward people facing challenges or “transitions” – physical or emotional – who would benefit from time on the water and the healing benefits of nature. These life transitions may include illness, losing a loved one, or facing an addiction.
