McAuley Sponsors Grade School Workshops

Mother McAuley High School is sponsoring two workshops for grade school students during March. The Theatre Department and Troupe 443 of the International Thespian Society at Mother McAuley High School is sponsoring a Theatre workshop on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at 3:30 PM. The workshop is open to sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls and boys who are interested in theatre. All participating students will meet in the McAuley Auditorium at 3:30 PM where they will work in small groups on a performance for later that evening. Parents are invited to attend the 8:00 PM performance. The Music Department will host its annual Choral Festival on Thursday, March 30, 2006. This event is for sixth, seventh and eighth girls who are interested in singing, dancing and fun. This workshop will give them an opportunity to make new friends who share similar interests in music. Students will meet in the McAuley Auditorium at 3:00 PM. Students will perform at 7:30 PM and parents are invited to attend. Pizza and pop will be provided and the cost is $5.00 per student for each workshop.
