We had an incredible time teeing up the Macs for success at our annual golf outing on Thursday, August 21! All proceeds from the golf outing go directly to the Tradition of Excellence Scholarship, which benefits incoming legacy students at McAuley.
Congratulations to the 2025 Caring Heart Award recipient, The Tom Hopkins Foundation! Georgina Griffin '76 and Courtney Griffin '08 presented the award in loving memory of Caroline Griffin '12 at the outing. In her remarks, Annie shared, "Mother McAuley has always been more than just a school – it is a community that instills values of faith, service, resilience, and leadership in young women. Those same values are at the heart of our foundation and were lived out every day by our dad. He taught us that true strength is found not just in facing life’s challenges with courage, but in extending your heart to lift others along the way. When my dad faced his battle with cancer, he showed us what it means to keep moving forward with grace, hope, and love. And through the foundation, we work to extend that same strength and compassion to others."
We are so grateful for all the Hopkins family does for so many families, and schools, right here on the south side of Chicago.
