Julia Mosqueda '13

Julia Mosqueda is a Mexican-American Chicago native, 2013 McAuley graduate, and 2018 Illinois Institute of Technology College of Architecture graduate. During her studies, Julia knew she wanted to dedicate her career to serving the community and using architecture to address issues such as homelessness and neighborhood disinvestment throughout the country. Her passion for Mexican culture, art, and history influences all aspects of her work. Julia currently serves on the AIA Chicago Foundation where she is the chair of Marketing and Communications and is Vice President of Arquitectos where she has implemented a new three year strategic plan and is committed to national expansion to further serve and honor Latino and Hispanic architects. Julia thanks Mother McAuley and the education provided by her parents for instilling in her the importance of service and the tools to be a leader in partnering organizations.
