Spirit Week
We’re less than two weeks away from our Competition Homecoming Spirit Week, inspired by some of your favorite reality TV competition shows.
Following the Labor Day Weekend, Homecoming week begins Tuesday, September 8 for Shark Tank day so wear business casual, suit jackets, ties, etc. There with trivia and prizes during lunch periods.
Then, Wednesday, September 9 is Survivor Day, each grade level should wear their designated tribe colors and there will be an inflatable obstacle course in the gym.
Thursday, September 10 is Bachelorette day. Wear your best gown or red for roses. There will be a rose scavenger hunt competition amongst homerooms and you will get a rose from a friend, staff or faculty member!
Friday, September 11 is Dance Moms day! That means dress in athletic wear, tutus, pony-tails and buns. Just Dance and Dance Dance Revolution will be available to play during lunch.
Homecoming
The week concludes with the Homecoming dance on Saturday, September 12 from 7:00-10:00pm. All tickets for the dance must be purchased by Thursday, September 10 at 11:59pm through myschooldance.com. Club Fair
The annual Club Fair will be next Friday, September 4 in the small gym during both lunch periods. Students are invited to come see the 45+ clubs we offer at McAuley, grab some popcorn and chat with friends! We are looking forward to a great year full of belonging, learning and service through our clubs!
