Alumna shares her Peace Corp experience with students

Peace Corp Volunteer, Elizabeth Burke '83, visited our Theology IV: Global Studies Class in December. She spoke with students about her path to joining the Peace Corps, her experience volunteering in Morocco, and some of the cultural differences between Morocco and the US.

Advice Beyond the Classroom is a club that provides opportunities for members to explore the soft skills needed in any professional career - including public speaking, networking, resume building, and more. Mother McAuley is hosting a special Legacy Luncheon for alumnae from the classes celebrating reunions of 51 years and above (Class of 1956-1975), and will honor the members of the Class of 1966 who are gathering for their 60th Reunion this year! The event will be held on Friday, May 1 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Ridge Country Club (10522 S California Ave, Chicago).
Reunion Luncheon tickets are $65.
