On Tuesday, October 18, we welcomed six alumnae to present to students about their specialized career field in Nursing. Students heard from a Cardiac Perfusionist, Infusion Nurse, Nursing Professor, Postpartum Nurse, NICU Nurse, and Hematology/Oncology Nurse. Alumnae explained their educational/college pathway, daily job responsibilities, the positive and negative parts of their job, and how McAuley has prepared them for college and the real world.

When telling students what they wish someone told them before leaving McAuley…

Ellen Webb '10 explained, "You are smart. You are smarter than you give yourself credit for. McAuley's teachers and counselors prepare you for college and the real world, so try not to stress. McAuley gives you the tools to be successful in any field. As a Cardiac Perfusionist, working in a male-dominated field, McAuley taught me how to be confident and to speak up."

We are so grateful to our all our alumnae who come back and share their wisdom with our Mighty Macs!
