Black History Month Alumnae Spotlight: Kimberly Price '83

Black History Month Alumnae Spotlight: Kimberly Price '83

In honor of Black History Month, our Black Student Union and Alumnae Office have partnered to spotlight distinguished Black alumnae.

Kimberly Price, a proud Mighty Mac alumna from the class of 1983 and an Illini graduate of 1988, is a retired career federal manager from the US Railroad Retirement Board. In 2021, Kimberly ended her 32-year career on a high note as the Director of Policy and Systems, after being named the Manager of the Year by the Federal Manager's Association.

Kimberly credits McAuley with not only teaching her how to think critically, but also with listening carefully, questioning skillfully and leading boldly while responding compassionately.
