On February 12, our entire school community gathered together for our Black History Month Prayer Service. Thank you to our Black Student Union for hosting the beautiful service filled with community, prayer, reflection, and music!

McAuley receives national recognition as a Premier Community for Theatre Education

Mother McAuley has been named a Premier Community for Theatre Education, a national distinction presented by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) to schools that demonstrate exceptional achievement in providing meaningful, high quality theatre education and access for all students. McAuley is one of only 15 schools to receive this three-year recognition, and the only in the Chicagoland area.

Mother McAuley to Honor Danny Did Foundation with 2026 Caring Heart Award

Mother McAuley High School will host the school’s annual Fore the Macs Golf Outing on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Ridge Country Club. The annual fundraiser benefits the Tradition of Excellence Scholarship at McAuley through a day of golf, fellowship and philanthropy. The 2025 event raised more than $136,000 in scholarships for the incoming freshman class.

At this year’s event, McAuley is honored to present the 2026 Caring Heart Award to the Danny Did Foundation, recognizing its commitment to protecting individuals living with epilepsy and preventing deaths caused by seizures through education, advocacy and access to life-saving technology.

Friday Night Lights Comes to Mother McAuley Volleyball

This fall, Mother McAuley's championship volleyball tradition is heading outdoors. On Friday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m., Mother McAuley will host Loyola Academy in Friday Night Lights: The Crosstown Classic, a special outdoor varsity volleyball match on the school's state-of-the-art turf field. Set beneath the lights and surrounded by students, families, alumnae and neighbors, the event will transform the McAuley campus into a celebration of competition, school spirit and community.
