The Class of 2025 enjoyed breakfast before school on December 13! As part of their 12 Days of Christmas Songs dress down days, they got festive and wore their favorite Christmas pajamas! It was a fun way to celebrate the end of the first semester, and unwind before final exams!
MacNation kicked off the morning with a cart ride to congratulate Ryann O'Sullivan '27 and Grace Regalado '27 on being selected for the 2026 All-State Production of Newsies!

Congratulations to the entire company of Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on a sold-out weekend of dazzling performances! The talented cast, crew, and pit orchestra spent countless hours rehearsing, dancing, and designing sets and costumes, all to bring this extraordinary and colorful production to life.
Twenty-eight students from the Class of 2026 have been recognized as Illinois State Scholars. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission presents this important recognition of academic achievement to exceptional Illinois high school students annually.
What an incredible moment as Pope Leo XIV poses with a McAuley t-shirt! Our very own chaplain, Father Tom McCarthy, O.S.A., recently visited with Pope Leo XIV and shared a piece of our Mighty Mac spirit by presenting the t-shirt and heartfelt letters from our students, advocating for Catherine McAuley's sainthood.
Save the date for the Mothers' Club annual Graduation & Prom Dress Resale Event. Dress shopping will be open for McAuley students on Friday, January 23, and it will open to the public on Saturday, January 24. Dresses can be donated and dropped off at Mother McAuley on Saturday, January 17. More details to come!
