The Class of 2025 Commencement was filled with so many memorable moments, including four truly inspiring speeches from our students & faculty.
Join us in congratulating Amanda Schuler - Valedictorian, Addison Haywood - Salutatorian, Chloé Berten - Student Speaker, and Mrs. Rita Fitzgibbons Fox '72 - Faculty Speaker! We are MIGHTY proud of their leadership and the powerful messages they delivered to the Class of 2025.
Mother McAuley has been named a Premier Community for Theatre Education, a national distinction presented by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) to schools that demonstrate exceptional achievement in providing meaningful, high quality theatre education and access for all students. McAuley is one of only 15 schools to receive this three-year recognition, and the only in the Chicagoland area.
Audrey Hart '26 was named a Backstage Finalist for Props Design & Management. Jonah Groff, who played the role of Joseph, was named a Finalist for Best Performer in an Actor Role.
We had a blast welcoming back alumnae from the classes of ‘86, ‘96, ‘06, and ‘16 for the Decades Reunion. Thanks to all who came back home to 99th Street this weekend!
We are MIGHTY proud to congratulate Ms. Kathy Gordon Davis on receiving the Educator of the Year Award!
The Educator of the Year is an award voted on by the Class of 2026. After reflecting on their four years, students were asked to think of an educator who is an outstanding teacher, who shows commitment to all students, and who has been instrumental in their growth as young women.
We gathered together on May 8 for a very special Time & Eternity Mass to celebrate the end of another incredible school year on 99th Street!
Mother McAuley offers 20 courses in Visual Arts & Technology, and on May 7, we showcased the exceptional artwork that was created by our students in B-Wing throughout the year during Artapalooza! Students, faculty, staff, families, and community members had a chance to view the incredible artwork and enjoy food trucks at this annual event. We are so proud of our MIGHTY talented student artists!
Thanks to all of our families and friends who spent the afternoon with us!
