Did you know? 94% of McAuley girls participate in one of our 50+ clubs and organizations! Our Mighty Macs were busy this past month volunteering, experimenting, and participating in hands-on activities with their clubs!
Last weekend, members of Lend A Paw volunteered at the Evergreen Park Urban Barn. They spent their Sunday morning feeding the horses and goats, cleaning out the chicken coop, and removing cages from the apple trees.
The Science Club spent their monthly meeting experimenting in the Chemistry Lab!
Science National Honor Society celebrated Movember with presentations from two students on the health benefits of movement and exercise, followed by a chair yoga class in the Student Life Center!
Macs LEAD had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker, Cindy Mrotek '96, a special education teacher, Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, and owner of a.c.e. therapies. She spoke to the club members about her own education and career path, as well as disability services and careers.
