Huge thanks to Dr. Lisa Damour for a series of truly enlightening sessions that brought our community together during our Mental Health Awareness Week! From local high school counselors to our underclass and upperclass women, and community parents, the engagement and thoughtful discussion made the sessions truly valuable.
The key takeaway? Mental health isn't always about feeling "good" or happy (though those are wonderful emotions!). As Dr. Damour shared, mental health is about two things: having feelings that fit the situation and managing those emotions well.
