In honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, our Macs LEAD (Leadership, Education, and Awareness of Disabilities) Club made trick-or-treat buckets for children at Gigi's Playhouse!
Gigi's Playhouse provides free educational, therapeutic, and career development programs for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.
The Mother McAuley Visual Arts & Technology Department invites 5th, 6th and 7th grade students (girls and boys) to submit and exhibit their artwork in the Junior high section of McAuley's Artapalooza. McAuley student artwork will also be on display at the exhibit. Artwork is due Tuesday, April 28 by 3:30pm. The exhibit will be held Thursday, May 7 from 1:00 - 4:30pm.
Girls in grades 5 - 7 are invited to our Basketball Clinics on April 30, May 5 and May 15 from 7;00 - 8:30pm. Learn the basic techniques of shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork & finishing, rebounding and defense.
Mother McAuley is hosting a special Legacy Luncheon for alumnae from the classes celebrating reunions of 51 years and above (Class of 1956-1975), and will honor the members of the Class of 1966 who are gathering for their 60th Reunion this year! The event will be held on Friday, May 1 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Ridge Country Club (10522 S California Ave, Chicago).
Reunion Luncheon tickets are $65.
Join us for a Happy Hour on Wednesday, May 27 from 5:00 - 7:30pm at 161 N. Clark St, Chicago. Connect with fellow McAuley Alumnae and expand your professional network!
Classes of 1986, 1996, 2006, and 2016 are invited to join us for a Decades Reunion on Friday, May from 6:00 - 10:00pm at McAuley! Tickets are $75 per person and include an open bar, food, school tours, and more! Each class will have an exclusive area of McAuley to celebrate. Doors open at 5:45pm.
McAuley Night with the Windy City Thunderbolts will be held on Saturday, May 30 at Ozinga Field (14011 S. Kenton Ave, Crestwood, IL 60418) at
6:05 pm. A Cappella will sing the National Anthem, and attendees can enjoy postgame fireworks!
Tickets are $35 person and include a burger or hot dog, popcorn, chips, and a soft drink.
