The Educator of the Year is an award voted on by the Class of 2026. After reflecting on their four years, students were asked to think of an educator who is an outstanding teacher, who shows commitment to all students, and who has been instrumental in their growth as young women.

Mother McAuley has been named a Premier Community for Theatre Education, a national distinction presented by the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) to schools that demonstrate exceptional achievement in providing meaningful, high quality theatre education and access for all students. McAuley is one of only 15 schools to receive this three-year recognition, and the only in the Chicagoland area.
Audrey Hart '26 was named a Backstage Finalist for Props Design & Management. Jonah Groff, who played the role of Joseph, was named a Finalist for Best Performer in an Actor Role.
We had a MIGHTY spring sports season! Congratulations to all our student athletes.
No Comment, a 15-member, internationally-ranked a cappella group from the University of Illinois, visited Mother McAuley for a performance and Q&A session with students from our choir, orchestra, and theatre classes.
We are MIGHTY grateful that they stopped by D-Wing for this special visit!
Graduates and families of the Class of 2026 gathered together in the auditorium for an evening of prayer and celebration ahead of graduation for our traditional Baccalaureate Mass. Calli Edwards '26 was named the Sister Brian Costello Award recipient, and shared a beautiful reflection with all in attendance.
