National Science Honor Society holds Grammar School Science Bowl

Congrats to all of our 2023 Science Bowl Competitors! Neighboring grammar school’s competed on their science knowledge, hosted by our Mother McAuley Science Department and members of our National Science Honor Society. We thank everyone that was able to come and compete and helped make it such a fun evening.

A big congratulations to our first and second place winners from St. Gerald. Also our 3rd place winners from St. Cajetan and 4th place from St. Procopius.

MMc & BR Band/Orchestra Nashville Trip

Mother McAuley & Brother Rice Band and Orchestra students traveled to Nashville over Spring Break for an incredible trip full of music.

Our Mighty Macs visited the Grand Ole Opry, recorded at RCA Studio B (the same studio used by Elvis, Dolly Parton, Chet Atkins, and so much more), performed at the National Museum of African American Music, saw Elvis Presley's Piano, and even spotted a celebrity along the way!

Daniel P. Haerther Scholars

Our Daniel P. Haerther Scholars went on a field trip to the Morton Arboretum! While there, students went on a scavenger hunt to explore and learn about its tree-filled landscape. They also met with employees from Morton to learn about career and internship opportunities! Thank you to our generous Haerther Trustees for hosting this great event - we are blessed!
