We are MIGHTY proud to congratulate our very own, Shantá Wheeler, recipient of the Archdiocese of Chicago's Thea Bowman Award for Teacher Leadership!
This award is given to an educator in the archdiocese who represents the characteristics of Thea Bowman. Like Bowman, Shantá embodies faith, integrity, and a deep commitment to her students. She has made a profound impact on our school community, and we are blessed to have Shantá on our team!
Our entire school community had the opportunity to celebrate Shantá during our Black History Month Prayer Service on February 13.
