Senior Olympics and BBQ

May 8 was the last day of classes for the Class of 2026. The day was a wonderful farewell that included the Senior BBQ, with the help of the Mother's and Father's Clubs, followed by the Senior Olympics. Fun was had by all with nine different teams organized by Theology classes. The Olympics featured four events including line soccer, hungry hungry hippos, a uniform relay, and a jigsaw puzzle. Mrs. LeCompte's fourth period class, the green team, came out on top after a relay race tie-breaker against Mr. Kyler’s first period red team. The afternoon concluded with the Class of 2026 singing the Suscipe in the main hallway.

Senior Academy Awards

On May 14, the senior class enjoyed their last McAuley pep rally followed by graduation practice and the traditional Senior Academy Awards, recognizing members of the class for fun categories such as “most likely to return to McAuley as a teacher" or "most likely to show up to class with a coffee."

The ceremony emcees, Sr. Nancy Houlihan and Mrs. Bewley, were joined by faculty members as they presented 34 awards to the senior class.

Baccalaureate Mass

Seniors and their families were invited to the Baccalaureate Mass and Blessing of Graduating Students on May 14. All graduated received a special Mercy medal with words of inspiration from Catherine McAuley. It was a beautiful evening as we gathered in prayer and celebration.
