Students learn about careers in education

We welcomed five alumnae back to Mother McAuley last week to speak on a panel about their specialized career in the field of education!

Students heard from a Case Manager at Barbara Vick Early Childhood & Family Center, Principal at Blair Early Childhood Center, Second Grade Teacher at St. Barnabas, Manager of Child & Family Learning at Lincoln Park Zoo, and Manager of Education at Daniel Murphy Scholars Foundation. These alumnae provided insight on their educational/career pathway, daily job responsibilities, how McAuley prepared them for college, and much more.

Huge thanks to our participating alumnae for sharing their wisdom with the Mighty Macs:

  • Yadi Echevarria Swanson '97
  • Bess Hendry '94
  • Molly O'Neill '15
  • Nicole Filippone Hodur '09
  • Jamia Jackson '16
