Mrs. Ann Gruber

Mrs. Ann Gruber

School Nurse

Ann is in her second year as Mother McAuley’s School Nurse and is thrilled to be working at her alma mater. After attending Loyola for nursing and playing a bit of soccer, Ann finished her undergraduate degree at Saint Xavier University. She then decided to stay close to home and accept a staff position at Christ hospital where she spent 20+ years in the Emergency Department. During that time she held multiple certifications required for working in a Level 1 trauma center. Ann’s certifications included, TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist), ECRN (Emergency Communications Registered Nurse), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Life Support), and CPR. Rising to the challenge of a career change as well as covid, Ann is settling in nicely and enjoying being back where she has so many fond memories. Go MACS!
