Science, technology, and engineering are basic skills expected by employers today.  As twenty first century citizens, your students also will have to make some of the toughest decisions of any generation, based on their understanding of emerging science and technology.

To promote these skills, Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School will host a Science Bowl for 7th graders on Thursday, March 14, 2019. The Science Bowl is a game style, fast paced questions and answer format testing students' knowledge on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, earth science, physics and math.  Students compete in teams of four (at least 50% female).  Students answer questions individually and as a team.  A copy of the rules of competition is enclosed in this mailing.

The schedule for the competition is as follows:

3:15   School teams arrive
3:45   Competition begins
5:15   Pizza and beverages will be served prior to the final round (Approximate time)
