Metra Shuttle Service from the Southwest Service

Mother McAuley will pick up students using the Metra in the morning using the 808 train arriving at Oak Lawn Metra Station, located at 9525 S. Tulley, at 7:14 a.m. After school the bus will return them to the Oak Lawn Metra Station for the 819 train leaving at 3:14 p.m. 

  • Students are responsible for their own Metra fare.

  • The fee for the Metra Shuttle Service to McAuley is $425 for the 2020 - 2021 school year.
Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School is located on 99th Street, three blocks east of Pulaski in an educational community. The school shares a campus with Saint Xavier University, Brother Rice High School and Evergreen Park Southwest Elementary School. The conveniently located campus is accessible by foot and bicycle or via car, CTA, private bus service and PACE bus. 

CTA and Pace Bus

Many students use the CTA to get here. You can purchase a Ventra bus pass in the beginning of the year. The most popular routes are Pulaski 53A which comes from the Orange Line all the way to 115th Street. Another popular route is the 103 West 103rd Street route which starts from 95th/Red line and ends up in Brother Rice’s parking lot. Check the CTA website for more information on routes.

  • Ventra Permits are $2.   Permits are sold at the beginning of the school year.
  • CTA charges 75 cents plus 15 cents for up to 2 transfers with permit.

Point to Point Bus Service

Mother McAuley and Brother Rice H.S. are offering joint bus service where possible. Please let us know what Parish is closest to your home. We must have 10 or more students coming from an area to commit to a route. Cost for this service is $1,800 for the 2020-2021 school year year/$950 for one way/half year service. Please complete the attached form if you are interested in the shuttle or point to point service. All Routes are established based on minimum number of riders.
