The Sisters of Mercy, our dedicated faculty and staff, amazing students, and YOU, our alumnae, are the true core of Mother McAuley High School. We are thrilled to have over 28,500 alumnae who have received the Lifetime Advantage of a McAuley education! Each one of you is fearlessly making a difference globally, in our community, and right here on 99th Street.
We strive to develop events and programs for all alumnae to feel welcome to come back home to McAuley. It is here within these walls that your wonderful experiences transformed you and prepared you to be Future Ready. We hope you continue to partner with us by sharing your stories, sending your daughters, supporting our missions, and living Mercy every day. We are ignited by your spirit!
Go Macs!

In early September 2020, members of the Mother McAuley Administration, Board and Alumnae department invited representatives from McAuley Alumnae for Justice to share thoughts and results of their recent survey. The objective was to come together; to listen; to learn. As a result, we understand that our actions against racism begin with self-reflection, awareness and acknowledgment.
We know that we have much work to do and much to accomplish.
Anti-Racism is one of the five critical concerns of the Sisters of Mercy. We are committed to eradicating racism in our school community and as a result, becoming a catalyst for anti-racism through our FutureReady McAuley women.
Our next step is to work in partnership and progress; participating together; building on this collective energy to create authentic and sustainable outcomes.
Thank you to representatives from McAuley Alumnae for Justice for their leadership and counsel. To our McAuley women, thank you for being empathetic, inclusive and empowered to make and be the change.
Sincerely,
Mary Acker Klingenberger '75
