Mother McAuley installed a new turf field in the summer of 2022. With the new field, our student athletes and student body have access to a safe, well-maintained, professional space, which had previously only been seen in all boys or co-ed schools. While we are celebrating 50 years of Title IX, equity in attention and facilities for women still have a long way to go. But as usual, McAuley is at the forefront of providing these essential opportunities to the young women of Chicagoland.
Inscape Summer 2023
At Mother McAuley, we are proud of the traditions and legacy that sustain us. Building champions is one of them. Our students, and in turn, our alumnae, are champions in the ways they present themselves, assume leadership roles, work to better their families and communities, support their friends and colleagues, and spread the Mercy values that were learned within our walls. We are able to build champions because we proudly provide an environment where our young women can explore and discover their interests, and be supported in the pursuit of their dreams. With this in mind, we are continually investing in state-of-the-art technology, tools and updated spaces to promote student growth and learning.

What a joy this past year has been as I stepped into the role of Principal at Mother McAuley. I have had the opportunity to work alongside a team who is dedicated to continuing the mission and vision of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, and have been inspired by the creativity and drive of our students, our faculty and staff, and the wider McAuley community.
