CREATE A LASTING IMPACT

Planting the Seed - The Class of 1973 Legacy Gift honoring their 50th Reunion

Excitement abounds as the Class of 1973 plans their 50th Reunion for Friday, October 13, 2023. The committee’s work began months ago as they set their goals: locating and communicating with all classmates, planning the mass and celebration, and most importantly, leaving their mark with a legacy gift to the school. Their mission is to carry on the teachings of Catherine McAuley; educated women are an asset first to themselves, then to society. With this in mind, the Class of 1973 is launching a Class Appeal to raise $50,000 to help fund the restructuring of McAuley’s award-winning STEM program into a STEAM program, ensuring the liberal arts will always have a prominent place in a McAuley education. Reunions offer much more than a great night or the opportunity to support future Mighty Macs; connections and friendships, both old and new, are sparked. We commend the Class of 1973 for setting their goals high to ensure a great future for all Mighty Macs to succeed.
