Mother McAuley’s storied athletic tradition and unparalleled success has spanned throughout the state of Illinois and across the nation for decades.
By offering 13 different sports with multiple levels, Mother McAuley is able to provide our student athletes with an extraordinary opportunity for growth and competition at the highest levels.
More than 425 students are involved in one or more of our interscholastic sports. Our volleyball team has more titles than any other school in the state, and 4 out of 5 freshmen are involved in one or more sports.

Our soccer team continues to have an amazing season on and off the field. Mighty Macs recently helped out at a Special Olympics event in Villa Park. They helped athletes work on their soccer skills and assisted the Special Olympics team in conducting a fun and empowering day!

Learn the basic techniques of shooting, ball handling, passing, footwork & finishing, rebounding and defense at our spring basketball clinic. The clinics will be run by Head Coach Curtis Lewis with the help of current McAuley basketball players. All clinics will run from 7:00 - 8:30pm in the Mother McAuley Main Gym.

Mother McAuley hosted a recognition rally to celebrate the team's accomplishments this season. Escorted by members of the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Fire Department, the state champions marched across campus and onto the newly installed athletic turf field, where the student body, teachers, administrators, parents, and community members cheered and offered their congratulations.
Congratulations to our varsity Volleyball Team for winning the Class 4A State Championship! On Saturday, the Mighty Macs defeated Benet Academy to bring home their 16th State Title!
The Mighty Macs will be advancing to the State Championship against Benet Academy. The game begins tonight, November 12, at 8:55PM.

The Mighty Macs are Sectional Champions after defeating Marist in the Sectional Finals. They will advance to the Super Sectional Championship at Eisenhower High School on November 4 at 6:30pm. Let's go Macs!

Every day at McAuley we celebrate girls. On International Day of the Girl we especially celebrate the opportunity McAuley provides for young women to become empowered leaders that change the world.
We are thrilled to improve our athletic experience by adding a state-of-the-art turf field for our student athletes. This field brings our student athletes back to campus to practice and compete. We look forward to having our student athletes take the field and continue to build a community around these sports and each other.

Mother McAuley is thrilled to announce that Curtis Lewis has been named the varsity basketball coach and assistant athletic director, effective immediately. Lewis brings more than 15 years of basketball coaching experience, a winning track record at various levels of competition including the collegiate level as a graduate assistant, and first-hand knowledge of the NCAA/NAIA recruiting policies, regulations, and admissions requirements.
The Mighty Mac volleyball team played Joliet Catholic in the first game of the year on August 23. MacNation came out to show their support as the team won in two games.

We are very excited to announce that registration is now available online for McAuley Summer Camps! From sports to art to theatre to science, we have a camp for you! There are camps available for ages K - 12!
The varsity basketball team won the Regional Championship on February 18! Bella Finnegan '22 lead all scorers with 30pts. Morgan Feil '24 had 13 and Caitlyn McLean '23 joined in double digits with 10.
The Mighty Mac varsity basketball team won the GCAC Championship against Montini. Macs improve to 16-9 with their 5th straight win.
Last night, Bella Finnegan ‘22 scored her 1,000th career point for the Mighty Macs in a win against St. Laurence.
