Dear Mother McAuley Faculty and Staff,
We are just one week away from our annual Mercy Day of Giving. It is a special day where we celebrate Catherine McAuley and her mission of educating young women in the Mercy tradition.
We will gather for an all school assembly on Friday, September 23 at 10:45 AM to begin the festivities. Following the assembly, the Institutional Advancement Team will kick off the annual 24-hour Day of Giving at 12:00 PM. This online giving celebration will continue through 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 24.
I encourage all of you, as the backbone of our school, to support this special fundraiser. All donations become part of the McAuley Fund, which awards scholarships and financial assistance to families, but also enriches the academics, arts, technology, athletics and campus ministry programs. This fund enables us to open our doors to be more, to provide more and to offer more as we work together to build confident and compassionate female faith-filled leaders of the future.
The overall goal for the day is $100,000 and 500+ Donors. We are hoping to see 100% participation by our faculty & staff. As an incentive, I am challenging each of you to consider giving what you can afford, gifts of sacrificial witness affirm our ministry at Mother McAuley. If we are able to achieve 100% participation there will be no classes on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Providing everyone an extra-long winter break will be my thank you for your continuous generosity towards McAuley!
Please visit the Mercy Day link on the website https://mercydayofgiving.mothermcauley.org/ to donate. If you would like to give through a payroll deduction, please contact Judy Porch jporch@mothermcauley.org.
My hope is that you will encourage and inspire each other to donate. Please do not miss the opportunity to financially support our young women in their endeavors to be more now and in the future because the McAuley experience is life changing!
Thank you in advance for your support.
