Fine Arts

As part of McAuley's liberal arts curriculum, students are exposed to the fine arts. During freshman and sophomore years, they are introduced to the arts through beginning level classes and participate in fine arts clubs and activities. As juniors and seniors, students have the option of taking higher level courses.
State-of-the-art facilities in the art, music and theatre programs allow students to create, rehearse and perform in subjects ranging from computer graphics to sculpture, symphony to choir and acting to play production.

McAuley fine arts students have been recognized at the national and state level as Scholastic Art Award winners, an Illinois High School Musical Theatre Award Finalist, members of the cast and crew of the All-State Show sponsered by the Illinois Theatre Association and as Best of Day Distinctions at the IHSA Music Solo and Ensemble Contest, among other distinctions.
