The Sister Ellen Marie Ryan, RSM Music Scholarship was established by Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School in 2012, in recognition of Sister Ellen Marie’s dedicated service to Mother McAuley as a member of the music faculty for over thirty years. This non-renewable scholarship will provide tuition assistance in the amount of $1,000 to one (1) member of the class of 2024.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. The applicant must have taken the entrance exam at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School.
2. The applicant must have previous music experience in her grade school and/or church and plan to continue her music education at McAuley.
3. The applicant’s family must have demonstrated financial need as determined by the submission of the 2020-2021 online FAST financial aid application.
4. The applicant must submit an essay using the prompt below. Essays must be 200-250 words, and must be typed in a 12-point font and double-spaced. Please do not put your name or any identifying information on your essay sheet. You will be able to upload your essay response in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format in the online application below.
