Sister Elizabeth Pardo, IHM
As grant writer for Mother McAuley, Sister Elizabeth Pardo helped to secure more than $1.5 million in funding for McAuley programs and scholarships. Sister Elizabeth’s career as a teacher, supervisor and grade school principal spans 47 years. Most notably, as principal of Epiphany School in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago, she was pivotal in raising the funds necessary to prevent the school’s closing by the Archdiocese of Chicago in 2005. In 2021, Sister Elizabeth celebrated 65 years as a member of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
