Classroom Instruction for Driver Education
Mother McAuley High School will be offering classroom instruction in Driver Education during the dates for Summer School. Session I will be offered June 11-28, Monday through Thursday, from 8:10 to 10:45 a.m. for three weeks; and Session II will be offered July 3 to 19, Monday through Thursday, from 8:10 to 10:45 a.m. for three weeks. Students must attend every class to meet the mandated 30 hours of classroom instruction. Please do not sign up if you have a vacation planned or will be in a summer camp at the same time.
The cost of the classroom instruction is $50.00, and can be paid by cash, check or money order made payable to Mother McAuley High School.
In addition, the cost for the State of Illinois Driving permit is $20.00 and will be collected during the first week of class. The cost of the range/simulation and behind the wheel training is $50.00.
Students must be 15 years of age when the class starts. Enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis. Driver Education will only be available to Mother McAuley students.
Complete the registration, attach the $50.00 check, cash or money order, and return it to the Main Office as soon as possible in an envelope marked Driver Education.
