Dear 1968 Saint Xavier College Study Abroad to Europe Participants:
A “moveable feast” is getting closer!
Over the last several months, you received information about a reunion luncheon for those who, in 1968, traveled and studied in Europe with Sister Dorothy Marie and Sister Mary Sulpice. Our reunion is quickly approaching!
Saturday, 14 July 2018
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
“Mon Ami Gabi” French Restaurant
260 Oakbrook Center
Oak Brook, Illinois
It is now time to reserve your space for the luncheon by emailing fellow traveler Sue Schwartz Zugenbuehler at: email@example.com. In the email, please indicate if you will attend and give Sue the following info: 1) your complete name (maiden and married); 2) your email address; 3) your phone number with Area Code; and 4) your mailing address. Even if you are unable to join us, please share the above information. If you do not use email, then please call in your response to the luncheon to: Jean Gainer in Alumni Relations at Saint Xavier University: 773/298-3316. She will then connect you with Sue.
The restaurant has a varied menu (check restaurant website: monamigabi.com.) and will give us separate checks. You may pay for your lunch by cash, check, or credit card.
Since this is a 50th anniversary event, we would like to make a donation to the Study Abroad efforts at Saint Xavier due to their being sponsors of the trip in 1968—a special and lasting experience for all who went on it. To that end, a donation of at least $25 per person is suggested. Please write that check separately, and bring it with you the day of the luncheon, making it payable to: Saint Xavier University, indicating “Study Abroad” in the memo line of your check. Special stories and photos from our trip are welcome at our reunion as is the pleasure of your company!
RSVP to Sue no later than Wednesday, 27 June 2018. The reservation at the restaurant will be in Sue Zugenbuehler’s name. Valet parking is available.
Thank you, and hope to see you in July.
The Reunion Commmitee:
